War veteran Valentina Baranova celebrates 100th birthday

On 8 November, veteran of the Great Patriotic War, front-line signalman Valentina Baranova from Grodno received greetings on her 100th anniversary. Valentina Baranova still leads an active lifestyle, participates in the work of the council of veterans of Grodno. The name of Valentina Baranova has been added to the Book of Glory of Grodno Oblast. The veteran was awarded the Order of the Red Star and the Order of the Patriotic War second class, numerous medals, including "For Military Merit" and "For the Liberation of Prague". By the decree of the Belarusian president of 2 May 2023, Valentina Baranova was awarded the Order of Honor.
